Bi-color ceremonial mid-heel mule
Feit
€ 650
Description
These boots are Feit's modern take on the classic heeled boot. Each upper is cut from a single piece of ultrasoft semi-cordovan and attached to a 38mm stacked leather heel with a hand-painted, bi-color base. Exposed ceremonial stitching at the toe combines form and function, and a RiRi zipper at the heel maintains a minimal silhouette while allowing the upper to mold itself to the wearer’s foot.

Materials
Cordovan leather, historically made from the buttocks section of a horse skin, has been used only for luxury dress shoes. FEIT shoes use the entire skin—hence the name "semi-cordovan”. The leather is tanned slowly, nourished with natural oils, and shaved. A century ago, when horses were still a driving force behind transportation, hides were plentiful. Now they are extremely scarce and difficult to come by. The use of this highly luxurious and elevated skin allows the foot to breathe and because it is much softer, does not require breaking in.

Size & Fitting
Each pair of FEIT shoes comes with an extra set of cork and buffalo leather insoles to assist with in-between sizing. The additional leather insoles can be used alone, or the cork can be inserted underneath the leather for extra padding. If you are between sizes, you can either size up and use the included insoles, or size down and use no additional insoles.

About Feit
Designed by Tull Price in New York, all FEIT products are built entirely by hand from natural materials, produced in limited numbers with a carefully selected group of master craftspeople from around the world.
FEIT was born as a reaction to mass consumerism and production, moving away from volume and excess and towards quality, sustainability, and the pursuit of product integrity. Tull Price refers to this movement as ‘neo luxury’.
