Description
This charming ecru, red and orange pouf is crafted from a thick and shaggy lambswool and mohair mix, and finessed with a hornbeam frame. It is made by a community of turkish weavers that colville works closely with to promote and support ancient craft traditions. The entire production process, from spinning the wool to creating the patterns on handmade looms, is organic and sustainable. Yarns and fabrics are washed with organic olive soap and coloured with vegetable dyes, meaning that the whole process is 100% kind to the environment. Each piece is unique.

About Colville
Colville is a brand with a passion for innovation and the unexpected, and for expressing the feelings and values of contemporary women. Established in 2018 by molly molloy (previously design director at marni) and lucinda chambers (previously fashion director of british vogue), colville’s collections are romantic and bold, adventurous, engaged, and uplifting
From the start, colville’s ethos has been collaborative and inclusive: we work with women’s social projects from dakar to colombia to morocco. We are committed to the development of sustainability and to re-purposing: from the start we have re-purposed and re-conditioned clothes and accessories. And we love crafts and the skills of making, and we value the people who use them to contribute to the world, whether they are the artisans who are producing our clothes and accessories, or the artists we collaborate with, or the many customers and followers who participate in our open projects.
