Description

All QUE ONDA VOS glassware is designed in Belgium by Hanne de Wyngaert, and handblown in Guatemala from 100% recycled and re-purposed glass. Because all products are entirely made by hand, small differences in size and colour may occur. QUE ONDA VOS promotes awareness about conscious consumption and creates jobs in indigenous communities ensuring fair wages.

This small plate is perfect for serving appetizers or to use as a bread plate. We like to combine the glassware with other ceramics for a unique table setting.

  • About the brand

    QUE ONDA VOS is a design label from Antwerp, based in the heart of Guatemala.

    They produce handspun, natural dyed, wool rugs and blankets, handwoven by Mayan weavers In Guatemala.

    Aside from textiles, they produce QOV glassware. These hand blown glass products are made out of recycled transparent glass by local glass blowing artisans.

    QUE ONDA VOS is founded by designer Hanne De Wyngaert in 2013. She graduated in fashion design, at the Royal Academy Of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

    After working on several design projects, she started thinking more about designing and developing products that have a social impact on the community that produces them.

    After travelling in Guatemala, she fell in love with the Mayan weaving traditions and decided to start up QUE ONDA VOS.

    QUE ONDA VOS is Guatemalan street slang for 'Yo, what's up?'.

    Using traditional spinning and weaving techniques as well as natural materials and dyes, QUE ONDA VOS promotes awareness about conscious consumption and creates jobs in indigenous communities ensuring fair wages.

  • Shipping information

    Graanmarkt 13 will carefully process your order and arrange for your package to be delivered right to your doorstep. Benelux orders will be delivered within 2-3 days (Saturday included). Orders to other European countries will be delivered within 2-6 days and to the rest of the world it will take 5-12 days. You can follow your order at any time using the tracking number sent to you by e-mail once your order is shipped.

    In case you are not home at the moment of delivery, the carrier will leave a notice and will retry to deliver your package the day after the initial attempt.
    If this second attempt would also be in vain, your package will be left safely with a neighbour or stored at a local pick up point (location will be mentioned on the notice in your mailbox and online).

    More information about products with different shipping methods will be communicated below each product. To other countries, the shipping costs will be indicated during the order process, right before payment.
