Description

The alabaster candle holders by Sirocco create a warm and whimsical light play. They come in different shades of white and beige and in different densities of stone crystals. Use them as a candle holder or let them fulfil a mere decorative function in your home.

Every piece is handmade in the Egyptian Luxor, in the same area where the alabaster is mined. All items are unique and small variations in shape and colour may occur.

  • How to use

    We recommend to apply a small layer of sand at the bottom of the candle holder before placing and lighting the tea light. The alabaster is pressed and glued on the inside, the sand will prevent the glue from heating up and leaking.

    The name is inspired by the sirocco wind, that blows all the way from Sahara to Europe and brings little grains of sand from one culture to another. Sirocco wish to give you the possibility to add unique products to interior decoration, products from fascinating cultures.
    The unique products will bring a personal, warm and aesthetic expression to interior decoration. All products are based on traditional crafts and materials of the highest quality.

    Sirocco is a Danish family business who introduced the Sirocco products to the Danish market in 2010. The Danish designer Ellen Raven and her husband have for several years lived in the Siwa Oasis in the middle of Sahara. They are in charge of development and production of the Sirocco products – in co-operation with the locals. The design of all products, takes source in ancient handcraft traditions inherited through generations.
