Description
An original, funny and playful look at wildlife. This wall hanging is woven from merino wool and mohair in the Textiellab in Tilburg.
This series by designer Rop van Mierlo consists of a family of failed or rejected animals from Rop's archive, which have been made into wall and floor coverings.
By using the wet-on-wet technique (painting while the material is still wet), by which he loses control over the animals he paints, the Dutch artist can create a series of casual, high-quality products that are made in limited editions and are truly unique.
Can be used as a wall hanging as well as a plaid.
