Description

Casegoods surely sees the beauty between the cracks. Each piece’s unique character slowly gets exposed as the material is formed and the surface is meticulously polished. Small cracks or other things that usually get perceived as imperfections are revealed through this process.

To maintain the oiled beauty of the bowl: Wipe with a dry cotton cloth as much is needed. On a regular basis, apply a generous coat of edible oil (such as coconut oil, pure almond oil, pure olive oil, etc.) with a clean cotton cloth. After this, let it soak in for an hour, then wipe off the excess with a different but clean cotton cloth.

    We find beauty in the marks of unique character, subtle variations of grain, figure, and texture inherent in materials that deepen through use and patinate over time.
