Description

In the original Indian Sanskrit, Dipā means lamp or light. Available in two different sizes and proportions, each oil lamp is meticulously crafted from hand finished solid brass. Composed of a simple cylinder with carefully rounded edges, both versions hold a cotton wick at the center to produce a flame that rises from the surface of an inscribed basin. The gentle flicker is reflected and amplified in the polished surface of the shallow depression, creating a radiating glow that softly lights the darkness.

Each cylindrical lamp houses a hidden reservoir of oil to fuel the cotton wick at its center. The polished spherical basin softly reflects the flickering light, echoing the luminary extent of the flame.
